The 3-Step Path

You do not need to read everything on this site. You need to do three things:

Step 1: Score Your Idea

Download the Idea Validation Scorecard. It evaluates your idea across 10 criteria and gives you a go/wait/kill recommendation in 20 minutes.

This is the fastest way to find out where your idea is strong and where it is weak. Do this first, before you read anything else.

Step 2: Read Based on Your Score

Your scorecard results will show you which criteria your idea failed. Use those to find the right content:

• Failed on market demand? Read How to Evaluate a Business Idea and the demand-testing frameworks.

Step 3: Decide

Use the frameworks to do one of two things: validate further, or kill early.

Both are wins. Killing a bad idea in week two saves you six months of building the wrong thing. Validating a good idea in week two gives you the confidence to commit.
